Sydney alumnus Martin Indyk leads peace talks between Israel and Palestine
Former United States Ambassador to Israel and University of Sydney alumnus Martin Indyk was responsible for facilitating peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine in August.
New Centres for Research Excellence announced
World-changing collaborative research in the areas of youth mental health, metabolic health and sleep medicine have seen three research teams at the University of Sydney funded for five years.
Leading Australian businesses support six new scholarships
The University has announced the endowment of six perpetual undergraduate scholarships donated by a number of leading Australian companies to commemorate the long and distinguished career of renowned Australian businessman, James Strong AO.
Helping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students prepare for university
Personalised homework, study assistance and careers information will support young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people interested in attending university, as part of the University's new Get Prepared program.
